To complete the identity verification, you will need:
A smartphone, laptop, or desktop with a webcam.
A valid government-issued photo ID (e.g., passport or driver’s licence).
A recent proof of address (e.g., utility bill or bank statement, dated within the last 3 months).
After your ID verification is successfully completed and approved, we submit your details to Companies House. They will email your unique personal code directly to you. Make sure your email address is accurate before submitting your ID check, as Companies House cannot resend the code if it is sent to the wrong email.
The ID check itself usually takes only a few minutes. Once completed, your details are reviewed and submitted to Companies House within 24 hours. Companies House typically issues your personal code within a few days.
